After years of effort and delays caused by the pandemic, the Veterans’ Resource Center on Binghamton’s Northside finally broke ground in February of 2024, and was completed in October of 2025. The Center is a unique one-stop shop for veterans’ support and services, serving as a model for other communities on how to support their veterans. It’s also home to 10 “tiny houses” on site for veterans at risk of homelessness.
This project is an example of what can be accomplished when working together. Multiple levels of government came together in support of this important project. The $500K Assembly grant Assemblywoman Lupardo secured is in recognition of the sacrifices our veterans have made and the debt of gratitude we owe to them.
