The Broome County Humane Society is in the process of a capital campaign that will help fund the construction of a new facility on Conklin Avenue in Binghamton. Assemblywoman Lupardo secured a $250,000 Assembly Capital Grant towards the $1.2 million campaign. The Humane Society provided care and services for more than 650 animals last year and each year that number grows. The new facility will help the shelter better serve animals until they find their forever homes.
