donnaAfter winning reelection on Tuesday, Assemblywoman Donna Lupardo will represent the residents of the City of Binghamton and the Towns of Union and Vestal for another two years. Following the election, Lupardo thanked her supporters and looked ahead to her sixth term.

“It’s an honor and a privilege to represent my constituents in Albany. I am grateful to be able to continue this important work for two more years,” Lupardo said. “We’ve accomplished a lot in the last ten years, but there is still plenty of important work to be done. I want to continue to attract new jobs and businesses to the Southern Tier by diversifying our economy, make critical investments to improve our infrastructure, promote local agriculture and food systems, and secure increased funding for our schools.”

Lupardo currently chairs the Assembly Committee on Children and Families, and sits on the Economic Development, Election Law, Environmental Conservation, Transportation, and Veterans Affairs Committees. She is also the Vice-Chair of the Legislative Women’s Caucus and the Co-Chair of the Legislative Aviation Caucus. Assemblywoman Lupardo was first elected to the New York State Assembly in 2004.
