After years of effort and delays caused by the pandemic, the Veterans’ Resource Center on Binghamton’s Northside finally broke ground in February of 2024. The Center will be a unique one-stop shop for veterans’ support and services. It will also have 10 “tiny houses” on site for veterans at risk of homelessness. In all, the Center will serve as a model for other communities on how to support their veterans.

This project is an example of what can be accomplished when working together. Multiple levels of government came together in support of this important project. The $500K Assembly grant Assemblywoman Lupardo secured for the project is in recognition of the sacrifices our veterans have made and the debt of gratitude we owe to them. The Center is expected to open on Veterans Day 2024.
