(BINGHAMTON, NY) – Assemblywoman Donna Lupardo will return to Albany for a seventh term, following a resounding victory on Election Day. Lupardo, who represents the City of Binghamton and the Towns of Union and Vestal, received 63% of the vote and thanked her supporters for putting their trust in her.
“I am grateful to be a voice for the Southern Tier in Albany and I look forward to continuing working on behalf of the people of the 123rd District,” she said. “We’ve accomplished a lot in the last twelve years, but I am committed to continuing to advocate for this community. Attracting new jobs and businesses by diversifying our economy remains my top priority, as well as making critical investments to improve our infrastructure, promoting local agriculture and food systems, and ensuring our schools receive their fair share of funding.”
Lupardo has Chaired the Assembly Committee on Children and Families since 2013, and sits on the Economic Development, Environmental Conservation, Higher Education, and Transportation Committees. She is also the elected Chair of the bipartisan, bicameral Legislative Women’s Caucus and the Co-Chair of the Legislative Aviation Caucus.
